Alfred TUCKER was born on December 24, 1887, at Abbotsham, England.

On March 18, 1916, he was drafted under the Military Service Act, into the 72nd Canadian Infantry Battalion, (Seaforth Highlanders), where he served on the battle fields in France.

On June 20, 1919, he was honourably discharged.

After the WW 1, Alfred was employed as a Section Manager for the Canadian National Railway.

He had two sons who also served in WW2: 

John Henry TUCKER served with the Royal Canadian Navy and later became a member of the RCMP.  John was a chartered member of Matsqui Unit #315. 

Leonard Alfred TUCKER served with the Canadian Intelligence Corps.

During WW2, Alfred served with the Home Guard. 

He was a prominent founding member of Matsqui Unit #315.

Alfred TUCKER died on October 21, 1963 (75), at Vancouver, BC.  He is buried at the Hazelwood Cemetery.
